Alton Towers theme park is opening with a fantastic selection of rides and attractions from 11th-19th February 2012 including adrenalin-pumping rollercoasters and family fun, making it the perfect day out or short break.

Open every day between 10am-4pm, guests can experience the famous twists and turns of Nemesis, the exhilaration of Air and the intense vertical drop of Oblivion. For younger guests, the fantabulous area Cloud Cuckoo Land has a range of fun attractions to keep the little ones busy.

With over a third of attractions under cover, the Alton Towers theme park is the ideal escape whatever the weather. Explore Sharkbait Reef by Sea Life, with over 300 spectacular species of fish, uncover the legend of the Towers in Hex or do battle with Ghouls and Ghosts in Duel – the Haunted House Strikes Back!

With endless hours of half term fun to experience, extend your adventure with a stay in one of the two fabulously themed hotels, where you can wake up on the doorstep of all the action. Soak up the watery fun in the tropical Alton Towers Waterpark, take time out in the luxurious Alton Towers Spa or challenge the children to a uniquely themed game of Extraordinary Golf, before heading off for another day of thrills at the UK’s favourite theme park.
