TV favourite Denise Van Outen presents a new video series giving
the nation a first
glimpse behind-the-scenes at the
hotly anticipated CBeebies Land at Alton Towers.
New for 2014: Cbeebies Land
The popular actress and TV presenter invites parents with young children to follow her into the new land as she asks all the right questions for mums and dads looking for a fun day out for the family.
Opening on 24th May 2014, CBeebies Land is a new 5-acre attraction situated in the heart of Alton Towers. A fun and safe environment for preschoolers to play and learn, CBeebies Land will include rides, immersive play areas, live experiences and appearances from some of the most well-known characters on CBeebies.
Along with family favourites Postman Pat, Tree Fu Tom, Mike The Knight and Iggle Piggle, visitors to CBeebies Land will be offered the opportunity to learn through play and fully engage with the characters and stories as CBeebies comes to life.
The new video series consists of three episodes and follows mother of one, Denise, road-testing the new CBeebies Land attractions on behalf of parents across the nation. Throughout the series Denise investigates how children learn through play, how the needs of an energetic young family are met and what you can expect from the brand new area of the theme park.
Denise shines a light on all the features CBeebies Land has to offer - whether that is using shape recognition skills to help Postman Pat sort the mail, learning about the five senses with Nina and the Neurons or learning about plants and herbs in Mr Bloom’s Allotment.
Denise Van Outen said:
This series is all about trading Essex glamour for a construction site. I
watch CBeebies with my daughter Betsy all the time and now she will get
to meet some of her favourite characters in person when the attraction
opens in May. More than that though, it’s a great chance for her to
learn as well; I’ve seen an amazing mix of practical education and
laugh-out-loud entertainment. I think the CBeebies Land team has
literally thought of everything, but best of all, I got to see it first.Katherine Duckworth, Head of Consumer Marketing at Alton Towers commented:
Denise has got stuck in with absolutely everything and we’re sure she
will offer parents a helpful perspective on the new attraction.
Everyone’s getting really excited about the opening of the area –
there’s going to be so much to see and do at CBeebies Land, and it’s
great that we’re able to give everyone a sneak preview thanks to
Denise’s brilliant on-site reporting. The 3-part web series is available below:
