For the 2008 season the Alton Towers theme park is open fully and on a daily basis from Saturday 15th March until Sunday 9th November, see the 'Park Info' page for opening times.
On the 15th of March a re-themed land opend at Alton Towers including 2 new rides and 1 rejuvenated ride. The area has been renamed 'Mutiny Bay' and features a Splash Battle type interactive boat attraction called 'Battle Galleons' and a rocking tug children's boat ride named ‘Heave Ho’, whilst a transformation of the Tea Cups has created 'Marauders Mayhem'.

There are the incredible 'Nemesis', 'Oblivion' and 'AIR' roller coasters and thrill rides such as 'Submission' and 'Ripsaw'. An exciting launched roller coaster named 'Rita' was added recently, ideal for adrenaline junkies.
