Chessington World of Adventures have applied for planning permission to create a new Safari Experience for 2013, where visitors ride in a safari trucks to explore a new reserve with flamingos, giraffes and rhinos. The 22 acre development site is located next to the Wanyama Village & Reserve, the main access would be from behind Rameses Revenge.

Ride Plans

The plans include an impressive entrance area and bridge, a themed waiting area featuring an animated introduction, before visitors board a safari truck which is driven around the trail by a guide. Along the route vehicles pass though each of the animal enclosures, several splash zones and into a cave section with water finale. The format for the safari experience is similar to Rhino Rally at Busch Gardens in the US.
