This giant 'Gyro Swing' ride will drag you into a total whirlpool of action. The spinning gondola enables riders to sit facing outwards whilst swinging to a height of over 22 metres. saf1680  - fantastic!   |June 2011 My first time on Melstrom i was terrified to go on it but when i did it wasn't even scary and im only 11! the only thing u feel on it is butter flies. The more u scream the less u feel them and u just feel a lot of wind coming on to u. Trust me when u go on it your first time you'd want to go on it again and again. Go on it! It's brilliant!

James  - Wow!   |May 2011 From the ground, Maelstrom looks absolutely terrifying and nauseating - the ride experience is a completely different story, though. There's lots of airtime, and some great ride sensations. For all those visiting Drayton Manor, Maelstrom is a must!
