Avast me hearties! On Saturday 20 March Legoland Windsor opens for an exciting, fun-packed 15th season with the launch of a brand new land – Pirates Landing.

New for 2010: Pirates Landing 

Join the crew in Pirates Landing and learn swashbuckling, seafaring skills at our interactive Pirates Training Camp, then climb aboard the new Jolly Rocker swinging pirate ship - a huge unique Lego Galleon - that swings to 18 metres high for the ride of your life. Young buccaneers can then set sail for a soaking on the ‘explosively’ enhanced Pirate Falls Dynamite Drench and dodge interactive water cannons controlled by visiting landlubbers.

Legoland Windsor has an outstanding line up of entertainment for 2010 with three brand new shows. Catch the new pirate-themed live action show, featuring death-defying acrobatics and swashbuckling swordplay – the Pirates of Skeleton Bay is an adventure for the whole family. The Elves and The Shoemaker will keep little ones spellbound at the Duplo Puppet Theatre and as if that wasn’t enough, in “Lego City A Clutch Powers 4D Adventure”, wannabe adventurers can watch Clutch Powers and his brick building gang take on a special mission to save the world in an action-packed new ten minute 4-D movie.

This season, the park is boasting the largest Lego Shop in the world! The Lego Big Shop has been extended to a record-breaking size and is jam-packed with the widest selection of Lego products in the country. This includes brand new LEGO Toy Story sets and building fans will also be able to buy exclusive Lego Harry Potter sets at the park one month before they hit the high street.

Legoland Windsor is a unique family theme park where children aged 3-12 can take to the road, soar through the skies and sail the seas in complete safety. It has over 55 interactive rides, attractions, live shows, building workshops and driving schools, not to mention a staggering 55 million Lego bricks, all set in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.
