New for 2012: The Swarm

The Swarm at Thorpe Park (New for 2012) Thorpe Park unleash The Swarm, a new B&M Wing Rider roller coaster, for 2012.

The impressive ride, code-named "LC12", is 127ft tall (making it the 2nd tallest ride at the theme park) and has an apocalyptic theme where riders fly through a crash scene and experience full size theming including a plane, helicopter, fire engine, and several trucks.

It is located on a new island north of Stealth, connected to the rest of the theme park by a bridge. There are also new facilities on the island such as toilets, retail and catering units.
