LEGO F1 Announced for LEGO Festival 2026 at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort

LEGOLAND Windsor Resort has revealed that LEGO F1 will headline the Thrill Zone at this summer's highly anticipated LEGO Festival 2026. This marks the first major IP partner to be announced for the festival line-up.

Running from 20 July to 31 August 2026, the LEGO Festival is designed to put children in the driving seat with interactive experiences that spark creativity and bring families together.

The inclusion of LEGO F1 will bring the high-octane buzz of a real race day to life in the Thrill Zone. All guests can look forward to a full-throttle line-up of high-energy moments, including hands-on racing builds, surprise costumed character appearances, and family pit crew challenges.

High-Energy Highlights in the Thrill Zone

  • The Brick Stop Challenge: Families will work together as an official pit crew, racing against the clock around a larger-than-life LEGO F1 car to complete the fastest LEGO F1 pit stop tyre change.
  • The Pit Lane Hype Show: Shifting gear into entertainment, this live beat-driven drum and percussion experience is performed using only tools and snapping bricks, capturing the pulse of a race weekend and inviting families to dance along.
  • Race Engineers for the Day: For those looking to raise the competitive stakes, both kids and adults can design, build, and race their own LEGO F1 brick vehicles, testing out ideas to see if they can find that extra bit of pace for a race day victory.

The Thrill Zone will also shine a spotlight on the F1 Academy, a junior racing championship created to champion the next generation of female talent. This partnership aims to help more girls see themselves in the world of motorsport and connect with F1 in an empowering way.

No race day is complete without a photo finish, and guests will have plenty of opportunities to capture picture-perfect moments. From meeting LEGO pit crew characters to stepping up for a winner’s photo, visitors can celebrate like champions and take home a memory worthy of the chequered flag.

"LEGO Festival is built for kids and powered by play, it’s a limited time experience where creativity takes the lead and imaginations run wild. With LEGO F1 headlining our new Thrill Zone, families can dive into the race day atmosphere at this first of its kind pit stop challenge. It is fast, colourful and packed with feel-good fun for everyone, from start to finish."
