Coming in 2027: Minecraft World
In a massive global first, Chessington has partnered with Mojang Studios to bring Minecraft World to life! This £50 million development will feature a world-first Minecraft-inspired roller coaster, block-built playscapes, and interactive adventures through iconic biomes.
New for 2026: World of PAW Patrol
Adventure Bay has officially arrived! This £15 million immersive land features four new rides, including Chase’s Mountain Mission and the UK’s first 'Drifter' ride, Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure. It’s the ultimate destination for little rangers, complete with Rubble & Rocky’s interactive play zones.
New for 2023: World of Jumanji
Step into the world’s first Jumanji themed land, featuring the world’s only Jumanji roller coaster: Mandrill Mayhem. This high-stakes area also includes the Ostrich Stampede and Mamba Strike rides, bringing the box office hit franchise to life in the park's wildest adventure yet.
New for 2022: Shipwreck Coast
Transporting guests to a disaster-ridden harbour town, Shipwreck Coast introduced two brand-new rides: the spinning Trawler Trouble and the water-blasting Barrel Bail Out. The area also features a major nautical refresh of the park's classic pirate-themed attractions.
New for 2021: Croc Drop
Riders experience a thrilling 25-metre plunge into the jaws of the ancient Egyptian Crocodile God, Sobek. This drop tower ride, located in the Forbidden Kingdom, features a 12-metre high crocodile head and subjects riders to heart-pumping freefall bounces.
New for 2020: Rainforest
Designed to highlight the park's support for the World Land Trust, the Rainforest area features three family-friendly attractions: Jungle Rangers, River Rafts, and Treetop Hoppers, offering a perfect mix of education and outdoor fun.
New for 2019: Room on the Broom - A Magical Journey
Bringing Julia Donaldson's beloved story to life, this enchanting walkthrough attraction replaced Hocus Pocus Hall. Families join the Witch and her animal friends on a spellbinding quest to find her lost belongings, while dodging the fearsome, 'Witch and chips'-loving Dragon!
New for 2018: Tiger Rock in Land of the Tiger
This multi-million pound development transformed the park's log flume into Tiger Rock. It features Europe’s first innovative overhead trails, allowing four endangered Amur Tigers to roam directly above guests, providing an incredible 'cat's-eye view' of the entire area.
