Pleasurewood Hills has submitted a full planning application to East Suffolk Council for the installation of four new rides within its existing park boundary in Lowestoft, marking one of the biggest ride expansions in the park’s recent history.

Flamingo Land Resort, one of the UK’s best known theme park and zoo destinations in North Yorkshire, has quietly removed three rides from its line up.

Just weeks after entering liquidation, Brean Theme Park has confirmed it will reopen for the 2026 Summer Season, with operations set to resume from Easter 2026.

Merlin Entertainments will be trialling a change to its Ride Access Pass (RAP) system at three UK theme parks during February half-term. The new trial applies at Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventures and LEGOLAND Windsor.
