Drayton Manor is made up of 6 themed areas, alongside a 15-acre zoo. Here is an overview of each, including the rides and attractions you will find within them.
Adventure Cove
This bright, nautical-themed zone is home to some of the resort's most popular attractions. You can brave the crashing waves on Stormforce 10, a high-speed water ride with a heart-stopping backwards drop, or take a spin on the Wave Swinger. The area also features the River Rapids and the reimagined roller coaster The Wave, which now offers a smooth, sit-down experience through four thrilling inversions. For those seeking extreme forces, the giant gyro-swing Maelstrom and the aerobatic Air Race are also located within this zone.
Frontier Falls
Step back in time to a rugged Wild West town in Frontier Falls. This immersive land features the world-first 'Lift and Launch' family coaster, Gold Rush, which offers two different ride sequences for a unique experience every time. You will also find the high-speed Accelerator coaster, the interactive Sheriff's Showdown laser gallery, and the spooky The Haunting dark ride. For a dizzying thrill, try the Blasting Barrels or catch a show at the Falls Theatre 4D cinema.
Thomas Land
Europe's only Thomas Land is a multi-million pound children’s area featuring over 20 rides and attractions based on the beloved Thomas & Friends series. Highlights include Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash flume, Troublesome Trucks Runaway Coaster, and Winston’s Whistle-Stop Tours. From the Sodor Railway to Cranky’s Drop Tower, it is a dream destination for young fans.
Vikings
Propel yourself into a bygone era of Norse legends in the Vikings land. Brave the weightless sensations of Thor, a Disk'O Coaster that spins you through the air, or take on Loki, the UK’s first Zamperla Nebulaz. Families can also enjoy the Jormungandr family coaster and the Sleipnir training school, where young vikings can ride through a themed course.
Fisherman's Wharf
Located near the lake, this area offers classic family fun. Take a voyage on the Jolly Buccaneer spinning boats, board The Bounty swinging pirate ship, or enjoy some high-speed collisions on Dodgems Ahoy. This is also where you can board the Polperro Express for a scenic tour of the park or enjoy a ride on the traditional Carousel.
Drayton Manor Zoo
Discover a wide range of rare and exotic animals in the Drayton Manor Zoo. Spanning 15 acres, the zoo is home to over 100 species from across the globe, including Sumatran tigers, red pandas, and a mischievous troop of primates. It is a fantastic place for a peaceful stroll between the thrills of the theme park.
