Roar and Explore at Chessington in 2016

Chessington World of Adventures has announced that 2016 will be their wildest year ever with new attractions and events as they launch the year of Roar and Explore.

New live show Pandamonium will debut at the theme park alongside a new look Trail of the Kings plus the launch of new Explorer Glamping

To celebrate the release of Dreamworks’ Kung Fu Panda 3, star of the show Po will be appearing at the theme park during the Easter holidays. Po will not only meet young adventurers but will have some big surprises in store as he brings with him a host of fun, family activities. As if meeting Po isn't enough Panda fun for the family, you can also enjoy complete Pandamonium with the brand new interactive live show. In a UK first and featuring a family of hilarious, mischievous animatronic Pandas, the new show will be sure to have the whole family roaring with laughter.

The popular Trail of the Kings is being re-launched in 2016 with a stunning new look and plenty for intrepid explorers to discover. Adventurers can seek out new treasures as they walk among the jungle giants such as Western Lowland Gorillas and highly endangered Sumatran Tigers. Don’t forget to practice your bow for the new King of the Jungle - a new male Asiatic Lion - who is set to join Chessington Zoo in early 2016.

If you're looking to make your experience even wilder, why not make it a short break with an overnight expedition, and be amongst the first to stay in the brand new Explorer Glamping tents. The new glamping accommodation is perfect for those who want to indulge their wild side without compromising life's simple pleasures, turning a family sleepover into an exhilarating, outdoor adventure. Guests will be greeted by one of the rangers and offered a number of activities including exclusive access to a selection of Wild Asia attractions and lively evening entertainment. They will then be able to get snug under the stars to share stories of the day's escapades before waking up to the wonderful sounds of the surrounding wilderness.

In other news, the classic Safari Skyway will not be operating at the theme park in 2016.
