IT: The 4D Experience® is complete with special effects and 3D projection to heighten the storyline. You can’t escape IT!
Survival Games has seen the biggest overhaul for 2025. In previous seasons, guests were split into cages at the beginning, and the multi-route layout often meant venturing through sections of the maze alone. For its fourth year, though, that’s all changed. The experience has been reimagined into a single, continuous route where visitors stay together. This streamlined format supports a refreshed storyline and ensures everyone gets to see every scene in one go, without needing repeat runs. New characters also feature this year, including those under the influence of Sirex — a dangerous new drug that mutates contestants and heightens their aggression within the games.
The second scare maze to receive updates for 2025 is Trailers. Following last year’s addition of scenes inspired by Platform 15 and Creek Freak Massacre, the 2025 version swaps Knock Knock and Breakout at Brainsbury’s for two new films — The Hollow Veil and X24. These fresh inclusions bring new energy to the maze and help it stay exciting as it enters its fifth season.
It's great to see two of the four returning scare mazes refreshed with brand-new scenes and scares to enjoy. Mawkin Meadow has been enhanced yet again and as a scare zone it's head and shoulders above the others. Purgatory Town is a decent addition to the event with brilliant characters and costumes, although with limited decor. The opportunity to ride Hyperia in the dark is reason enough to visit the park during Fright Nights!
