Following the massive impact of Hyperia, the Hype! event returns to the 'Island Like No Other' for a full day of thrills. This event is specifically tailored for the enthusiast community, combining the social aspect of a group meetup with professional insights from the people who design the UK’s most famous attractions.

Creative Q&A: The Magic Behind the Thrills

Attendees will enjoy a rare opportunity to hear directly from the Merlin Magic Making creative team. During a dedicated presentation and Q&A session, members of the design group, including Beth Clarke and and Nicole Sangster, will discuss the development of recent park projects. It is an essential session for anyone curious about the engineering and storytelling required to bring a world-class roller coaster to life.

Exclusive Ride Time (ERT) on Hyperia

The highlight of the day for many will be the hour of Exclusive Ride Time on Hyperia. After the park has closed to the general public, event guests will have the UK’s tallest and fastest coaster all to themselves for 60 minutes. With the ride running on a two-train operation, this is the perfect chance to rack up multiple laps on the 236ft tall 'Golden Goddess' at sunset.
