M&D's Scotland's Theme Park reopening on 24th August 2020

Scotland's Theme Park will be reopening with seven new rides on Monday 24th August 2020.

In line with government guidance and with restricted visitor numbers, Scotland's Theme Park will be reopening with changes to the visitor experience including seven new rides.

Social distancing will be clearly marked for visitors queuing for rides and outdoor games, and hand sanitising stations have been added to locations throughout the park for added hygiene.

From the 24th of August they will be opening the park from 6pm until 9pm Monday to Friday, then every weekend between 11am and 2pm then 2.30pm and 5.30pm.

Scotland's Theme Park has a variety of thrill rides and family attractions. Details of the seven new rides have not yet been confirmed.

Those who wish to use the outdoor rides will be asked to book into one of these three-hour sessions. Visitors are encouraged to book online before they arrive to avoid disappointment.

All outdoor rides will be using a points card system to ensure that cash exchanges are kept to an absolute minimum and card payment will also be accepted at all food outlets.

They will be operating the track and trace system and will ask all visitors to comply with this on entering the park.

Further details on how to book can be found at www.scotlandsthemepark.com or by calling 01698 333777.

After several years of financial difficulties, the owner of Scotland's Theme Park went into administration earlier this year.

M&D (Leisure) Ltd notified all of its staff on Thursday 23rd April 2020 that they were being made redundant with immediate effect. It had one director: Matthew William Taylor.

Scotland's Theme Park is now owned by Lochview Theme Park (Scotland), which has three directors: Lillian Connelly, Marc Taylor and Matthew Taylor.
