Alton Towers Resort has detailed its newest Halloween offering for Scarefest 2026, putting the spotlight on a spine-tingling immersive dining experience called Dine with the Dead.
Running alongside the seasonal event from Saturday 26 September until Sunday 1 November 2026, the new dining experience invites brave diners to a twisted dinner party hosted by the sinister Lord Vincent and Lady Lucinda Vile as they celebrate 300 years of toxic matrimony.

For the first time ever, the theme park is combining gastronomy with theatrical horror in Dine with the Dead. Guests are invited to a twisted dinner party hosted by the sinister Lord Vincent and Lady Lucinda Vile as they mark 300 years of toxic matrimony.
What starts as an elegant reception quickly descends into an unsettling evening featuring eerie encounters, twisted performances, and live entertainment taking place right around the dinner table. Attendees will find themselves immersed in the story rather than merely watching from the sidelines.
Priced from £69 per person, the experience is divided into three distinct parts: a cocktail reception, a three-course meal, and a chilling afterparty.
New Attractions and VIP Tours
Thrill-seekers looking to elevate their visit can take advantage of exclusive VIP experiences for 2026. This includes a behind-the-scenes, lights-on guided tour of the brand-new scare attraction, Final Exhibit. Opening on Saturday 26 September, the attraction lures visitors into what initially appears to be an exhibition of newly discovered Alton Towers artefacts before drawing them into the hidden archive of The Curator. The VIP tour offers a unique look behind the creative process, complete with exclusive talks on the attraction's storyline.
Also returning for 2026 is the popular Alton Towers Ghost Tour. Equipped with professional paranormal detection equipment, brave visitors can embark on a 60-minute guided ghost hunt through the mysterious, history-laden ruins of the Grade II listed Towers following recent reports of eerie sightings.
Second Day Free Offer
Visitors hoping to extend their autumn getaway can benefit from the Resort's Second Day Free promotion. Available for short break stays and starting from £79 per person, this offer includes an overnight stay in one of the themed accommodations alongside a complimentary second day at the theme park.
