The awards, which celebrate excellence across the UK theme park industry, will take place on 10 September 2026, recognising outstanding achievement across both major operators and much-loved independent attractions.

TAG Live® returns as the production partner, following a highly successful awards ceremony at Wicksteed Park last year, building on the event’s continued growth after ceremonies hosted at Drayton Manor Resort (2022), Chessington World of Adventures Resort (2023) and Thorpe Park (2024).

Last year's ceremony attracted significant engagement from both the industry and the public. Winners were determined by combining more than 300,000 votes with scores from an expert judging panel. 180 representatives from the sector attended the event, while a further 8,000 viewers watched via livestream.

The annual awards are organised by Theme Park Network, publisher of ThemeParks-UK, the independent consumer guide to UK theme parks.

Amanda Thompson OBE, CEO at Pleasure Beach Resort, said:

“It is truly an honour to be welcoming the UK Theme Park Awards to Pleasure Beach Resort for the first time. It’s an event that celebrates the very best of our industry, and we’re looking forward to opening our doors to colleagues and friends from across the sector.

“The UK Theme Park Awards 2026 promises to be a fantastic occasion, and we can’t wait to showcase everything that makes Pleasure Beach such a special place.”

James Cox, Director of Marketing, Sales and PR, added:

“Hosting the 2026 UK Theme Park Awards is a brilliant opportunity for us to showcase everything Pleasure Beach Resort has to offer to the wider industry. Delegates can enjoy our rich history blended with our iconic rides and continued investment into the future – including our exciting new ride, Aviktas.

“The awards are the perfect platform to demonstrate our ambition and innovation. We’re excited to welcome everyone to experience it first hand, and proud to be at the heart of such a huge event for the industry.”

Further details, including the presenter line-up, judging panel and additional event information, will be announced in due course.

As in previous years, the public will be invited to vote for their favourite theme parks across a range of national award categories recognising excellence in rides and attractions, shows and events.

Ahead of the main public vote opening later this year, a shortlist will be compiled using public nominations alongside input from an expert judging panel, ensuring a balanced and industry-informed selection process.
