Drayton Manor Resort is getting ready to cast a spell over visitors this October with the launch of its brand-new Blazing Halloween event. Promising a frightfully fun family day out, the Staffordshire theme park is transforming for the autumn season with fiery spectacles, spooky trails, and dazzling evening finales.
The event introduces a packed programme of entertainment for guests of all ages, blending family-friendly scares with high-energy thrills across the resort.
Spooky Trails and Family Fun
Little monsters visiting the park can take part in the all-new Trick or Treat Sweets Trail. Youngsters can follow a map around the park, stopping off at themed locations, including the Surf Shack, Thomas Land Shop, Rory's Souvenirs, and the Gold Rush Shop, to collect sweet treats and pose for photos with spooky character cut-outs.
Entertainment continues throughout the day with lively performances. Families can catch the spooky Thomas Land Balcony Shows before joining resort mascot Rory for the Day of the Dead Disco and Boo Bash, offering plenty of music, dancing, and character interaction.
Thrills on the Tracks and Vikings Area
For guests seeking a little more adrenaline, the popular Revenge of the Haunted Express returns. Brave riders can climb aboard for a ghostly journey through the parkβs eeriest corners for an additional Β£5 per person, encountering creepy creatures and shadowy figures along the way.
Over in the Vikings area, visitors can catch the thrilling Thor vs Loki Fire Show three times a day. The action-packed showdown features incredible fire stunts, daring performances, and plenty of Viking power.
Spectacular Evening Finales
As daylight fades, the atmosphere shifts with the End of Day Lake Show, running every evening at 6:00 pm. This breathtaking water and fire spectacular features soaring water jets, dazzling lights, animations, and bursts of fire choreographed to a Halloween soundtrack.
To cap off the festivities, Drayton Manor will host its grand End of Season Fireworks displays on 31st October and 1st November. These spectacular nights will light up the sky with colour and music to mark the unforgettable close of the autumn season.
Guests wanting to extend their stay can also book a Stay & Play package at the onsite Drayton Manor Hotel, located right next to the theme park.
Ultimate, Platinum, and Gold Annual Passholders enjoy free entry to the Blazing Halloween event, though separate tickets are required for the Haunted Express train ride and trick-or-treat bags.
