Alton Towers Resort has released captivating new drone footage of its latest attraction, Bluey the Ride: Here Come the Grannies!, ahead of its grand opening on Saturday, 28th March 2026.
The world’s first-ever junior coaster dedicated to the Emmy® Award-winning global sensation is the newest addition to CBeebies Land. The ride is themed around the fan-favourite episode where Bluey and Bingo transform into the mischievous Grannies, Janet and Rita.
A Junior Coaster with 'Limitless Energy'
The newly released footage offers a unique perspective, filmed from the eye-line of a child to simulate the experience of the Resort's youngest guests. The drone follows the Grannies’ Car as it departs the station, embarking on a journey through Bluey’s backyard.
The track features a series of playful twists and turns designed specifically for preschoolers and young families, capturing the high-energy spirit of the show. Fans will also spot a life-sized recreation of Bluey’s iconic family home, which serves as a prime photo opportunity within the attraction area.
Howard Ebison, Vice President of Alton Towers Resort, said:
"It’s exciting to be able to give eager fans and families an official first-look at our newest attraction Bluey the Ride: Here Come the Grannies! this spring at Alton Towers Resort.
This first glimpse of the ride shows what promises to be an exciting experience for the whole family - from little ones to grandparents - which bring the limitless energy of Bluey to life."
