Minecraft: Meet the Mobs will make its UK debut at Alton Towers Resort this summer, bringing the world of Minecraft into the real world through an exclusive limited-time event running 18 July until 28 August 2026.
The Staffordshire theme park has announced the launch of Minecraft: Meet the Mobs, an all-new interactive experience that will allow guests to encounter some of the video game's most recognisable creatures during a unique summer event included with standard theme park admission.
Designed for Minecraft fans of all ages, the new event will feature a first-of-its-kind UK trail where guests can discover adorable baby Mobs hidden throughout six specially themed Minecraft-inspired locations across the park.
All guests taking part in the trail will receive a game card which can be stamped at each location. Those who successfully complete the experience will then unlock an exclusive Minecraft digital reward, available only to guests attending the event atΒ Alton Towers Resort.
In addition to the trail, guests will have the opportunity to meet and take photographs with official Minecraft costume characters, including the imposing Iron Golem, the popular Chicken Jockey, and the iconic Creeper.
A variety of Minecraft-inspired puppets will also appear throughout the special event, featuring fan-favourite creatures such as yellow axolotls, baby pandas, pigs, goats, chicks and wolf pups.
Minecraft remains the best-selling video game of all time, with more than 350 million copies sold worldwide, making this collaboration one of the most exciting family events taking place at a UK theme park this summer.
To further immerse guests in the Minecraft universe, limited themed food and drink options will be available to purchase, including TNT popcorn and Minecraft-inspired ice lollies. A range of exclusive merchandise will also be on sale throughout the event, offering visitors the chance to take home a special souvenir.
The event is included with standard admission to Alton Towers Resort, making it an attractive addition to a summer visit for families and Minecraft enthusiasts alike.
