Thousands of visitors gathered at ROARR! in Norfolk over the weekend as Gladiators star Matty Campbell, known as Bionic, officially opened the park's latest attraction, Fossil Falls.
The £300,000 investment marks the opening of the UK's longest outdoor tubing slide. Spanning 107 metres, the record-breaking attraction sees riders hop into doughnut-shaped inflatable tubes before gliding down the newly constructed descent.
Celebrity Launch and Family Celebrations
Crowds gathered to watch Bionic cut the ribbon to officially launch the attraction before guests took to the slope themselves.
Speaking at the grand opening, Matty Campbell (Bionic) said:
"It was amazing to see so many people turn out for the opening of Fossil Falls and the atmosphere has been incredible. I'm delighted to have been here to officially open it and see so many families enjoy it."
Ben Francis, Park Director at ROARR!, highlighted the enthusiasm surrounding the new addition:
"What a way to open Fossil Falls! We've had thousands of visitors joining us over the weekend and it's been fantastic to see families enjoying the ride for the very first time. We knew Fossil Falls was going to be something special, but the response has been incredible. Having Bionic here to officially open the ride made it a launch day we won't forget."
Expanding Norfolk's Premier Adventure Destination
Fossil Falls joins an extensive line-up across the 85-acre Norfolk adventure park, which was recently recognised as one of the top UK theme parks by The Telegraph.
The new ride is fully included in the standard admission price, alongside popular attractions such as:
- Dippy's Splash Zone (outdoor water play)
- Predator High Ropes (aerial adventure course)
- Dinomite (Norfolk's largest indoor soft play area)
Fossil Falls is now open to the public. Park opening hours, ticket bookings, and further event details can be found on the official ROARR! website.
