Thorpe Park is celebrating 25 years of its award winning Halloween event, Fright Nights, with the launch of a brand new terrifying experience. Arriving for the 2026 season is Tenement, the Surrey theme park's first fully immersive and pitch black scare maze, designed to plunge guests into absolute darkness.
Running on selected dates from 2 October to 1 November 2026 between 3pm and 9pm, Fright Nights has a line up of spine chilling mazes, scare zones, and live entertainment for brave visitors.
A New Level of Fear: Tenement
The standout addition, Tenement, challenges guests to confront their fear of the dark. Armed only with a shared and failing handheld light, visitors must navigate an abandoned building where the power is dead and the tenants have vanished. Every flicker of the torch threatens to reveal sinister creatures lurking nearby. As the light fades, guests will be hunted through a disorienting labyrinth of reflections, illusions, and sensory scares.

She noted that Fright Nights is an iconic part of Halloween in the UK and that they love bringing guests' nightmares to life. By playing on one of our most instinctive fears, the fear of the dark, the park cannot wait to challenge guests to confront what they cannot see.
Returning Nightmares and Scare Zones
Alongside Tenement, four fearsome returning mazes will be ready to terrify. The SuperSpark Cinema in Trailers returns with a sinister new screening titled Blood Red Roses. Stitches reopens Howell's Toy Emporium with fresh, creepy additions waiting to make unsuspecting guests part of the collection. Survival Games throws participants back into a labyrinth of shifting pathways and brutal obstacles, while fan favourite DeadBeat drags partygoers into an underground nightclub swarming with shadowy creatures.
The streets of Thorpe Park will also be crawling with horror. Purgatory Town, the park's interactive scare zone, returns with new condemned inhabitants eager to share their dark tales. Lucifer's Lair will host unforgettable performances from the Lord of Darkness himself, and The Crows are set to spread silent terror across the park after abandoning Mawkin Meadow.
Live Entertainment and Coasters in the Dark
Live entertainment gets a thrilling boost this year with Creature Campus: Reunion Reckoning, a high energy live show where old rivalries ignite. Also new for 2026 is the Rebel Ball. Sponsored by Fanta and taking over The Launch Pad, the event promises a vibrant evening of music, dance, and spectacular fire performances.
Thrill seekers can also experience Thorpe Park's iconic roster of rides in the dark. Rollercoasters like Hyperia, the UK's fastest and tallest rollercoaster, The Swarm, SAW - The Ride, Stealth, and Nemesis Inferno take on a completely different atmosphere once the sun goes down.
Ticket Information
Fright Nights tickets are available now on the Thorpe Park website. Online prices start from £39 per person for park entry, or £71 for entry including the scare mazes. On the day gate prices are £66 and £98 respectively. The event is recommended for ages 13 and over, with a strict 15 rating applied to Survival Games.
