Skegness Pleasure Beach is a family-owned amusement park that has been entertaining generations of visitors for over 60 years. Founded by the Botton family in 1965, the park remains independently owned and continues to combine traditional seaside fairground charm with modern attractions.
Home to over 30 rides for all ages, the park also features a traditional fairground, family rides, thrill rides, arcades and attractions. Guests can enjoy a variety of restaurants, cafΓ©s and street food vendors throughout the park, making it an ideal full-day family destination. Its rich heritage, continual investment and welcoming atmosphere have made it one of Lincolnshire's most popular visitor destinations.

The park offers a fantastic mix of family attractions and adrenaline-pumping rides. Thrill seekers can experience Freak Out, one of the UK's largest travelling pendulum rides, alongside the beautifully restored Wave Swinger. New for 2025, Jurassic Resurrection won Bronze for Best New Attraction at the UK Theme Park Awards, combining immersive theming with family thrills.Β Arriving for Summer 2026 isΒ The Kraken, another major investment that continues the park's expansion. Throughout the season guests can also enjoy live entertainment including character appearances, stilt walkers, jugglers, fire breathers and the hugely popular Fun Night, featuring spectacular laser shows and live entertainment that has become one of the area's biggest annual events.
New for Summer 2026 β The Kraken
Launching for Summer 2026, The Kraken is a spectacular giant looping ride that promises to become one of the standout attractions on the East Coast. Standing approximately 24 metres (79 feet) tall, the ride swings passengers through exhilarating pendulum motions while rotating the gondola, delivering multiple moments of weightlessness and breathtaking views across Skegness. Originally manufactured by ARM, the ride has previously travelled on the European fair circuit before being extensively refurbished and transformed with an all-new sea monster theme for its permanent home at Skegness Pleasure Beach. The Kraken represents one of the park's biggest investments to date and continues its tradition of introducing exciting new attractions while celebrating classic fairground heritage.
