Alton Towers Resort has revealed a first look at the baby Mobs ahead of the brand-new Minecraft ‘Meet the Mobs’ event arriving this summer.
Starting on 18 July 2026, Minecraft ‘Meet the Mobs’ will bring the globally popular video game to life at the Staffordshire theme park for the first time. The limited-time event, running for six weeks until 28 August, is included with standard park admission.
New Arrivals and Costume Characters
The first-look images show a collection of all-new baby Mobs settling into their habitat at the resort. Families will be able to encounter six Minecraft-inspired scenes across the park, featuring new Mob puppets such as yellow axolotls, baby pandas, pigs, goats, chicks, and wolf pups.
Official Mob costume characters will also make appearances, including the Iron Golem, Chicken Jockey, and the iconic Creeper.
Exclusive In-Game Rewards and Themed Snacks
Guests who complete the Baby Mobs Trail will be able to unlock an exclusive downloadable Minecraft in-game reward that is only available to visitors at Alton Towers Resort.
To complete the experience, themed snack stands will serve TNT Exploding Popcorn and Minecraft ice-cream sticks. Exclusive new Minecraft merchandise will also be available to purchase throughout the six-week event.
