Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts has unveiled a range of exciting new accommodation options across its four UK resorts following a significant surge in demand for family short breaks over the last 12 months.
To meet the growing popularity of staycations, Gulliver’s World in Warrington, Gulliver’s Kingdom in Matlock Bath, Gulliver’s Valley in Rotherham, and Gulliver’s Land in Milton Keynes have all introduced new themed stays ahead of the summer season, with further additions scheduled for later this year.
In total, Gulliver’s now boasts more than 300 accommodation units across its portfolio, featuring over 30 distinct themes designed for families with children aged two to 13.
Resort Highlights
Gulliver’s World (Warrington)
The resort has launched two brand new hotels, adding 32 themed rooms to the park. The Fairytale themed Enchanted Castle Hotel offers en-suite rooms sleeping up to five guests, whilst the Pirate Ship Hotel features en-suite pirate themed rooms sleeping four.
Gulliver’s Kingdom (Matlock Bath)
Set in the Peak District, The Willows complex has expanded to 11 themed rooms and apartments with the addition of new ‘Hedgehog’ and ‘Rabbit’ rooms. Developed in collaboration with The Wind in the Willows illustrator Chris Dunn, the complex also includes existing options such as the ‘Mole’, ‘Ratty’, and ‘Toad’ apartments, alongside ‘Squirrel’, ‘Otter’, ‘Mouse’, and ‘Badger’ family rooms.
Gulliver’s Valley (Rotherham)
Two new air-conditioned Voyager cabins (sleeping two adults and two children) and two Explorer cabins have been opened. Additionally, seven new static caravans have been added in a newly designated Glade area.
Gulliver’s Land (Milton Keynes)
For a unique stay, the park has introduced the Gulliver’s Toon Town Tour Bus. The vintage, self-contained London-style double-decker red bus has been fully converted to sleep up to two adults and two children.
Investing in Family Staycations
Julie Dalton, Managing Director of Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts, expressed her delight at the new rollouts:
"We are so excited to be launching our new accommodation across our resorts ahead of a busy summer season. In total, Gulliver’s now boasts more than 300 accommodation units across all four resorts with over 30 inventive and exciting themes that really appeal to children and their families, and we see them coming back time and time again!
"The popularity of our short break stays continues to increase year-by-year, so this investment in our resorts is helping to meet that demand and also provides our guests with even more options for cost-effective, family breaks here in the UK."
Dalton also confirmed that further accommodation developments are planned across the group's parks as part of a continued commitment to expanding family break options.
Founded in 1978 with the opening of Gulliver’s Kingdom, the family-run business continues to cater to each generation of UK families with rides, attractions, themed short breaks, and seasonal events throughout the year.
