Alton Towers Resort has now revealed the return of its popular Santa Sleepovers, alongside a selection of festive day tickets and post-Christmas breaks designed for families looking for a seasonal escape.
The Santa Sleepovers will run on selected dates from 27 November to 23 December, with packages starting from £96 per person. Combining an overnight stay in one of the resort's themed hotels with festive seasonal activities, the package gives families access to selected areas of the theme park, entertainment, and a visit to Santa's Grotto.
Theme Park Rides and Seasonal Shows
During the festive event, guests can experience family attractions across CBeebies Land and Mutiny Bay, alongside the Christmas atmosphere along Towers Street.
Seasonal entertainment features heavily in the lineup, including:
- Santa’s Grotto on Mistletoe Lane: An interactive walkthrough leading to a meet-and-greet with Santa.
- Dick Whittington: A traditional family Christmas pantomime.
- The Sprout that Saved Christmas Show: A live festive stage show.
- Towers Ruins Light Show: A closing light display illuminating the resort's iconic historic ruins.
In the evening, guests are offered a festive dinner accompanied by live singers performing seasonal classics. Package holders also receive a full buffet breakfast the following morning, entry to the indoor Alton Towers Waterpark, and a round at the 9-hole Extraordinary Golf course.
Festive Days Out and New Year Breaks
For visitors looking for a shorter trip, festive day passes are available from £16 per person. Day tickets include access to open rides in CBeebies Land and Mutiny Bay, seasonal shows, and the evening light display. Entry to Santa’s Grotto can be added to day passes for £12 per child, or £10 for Merlin Annual Passholders, with up to two accompanying adults admitted free per child ticket.
Following Christmas Day, Alton Towers will host Festive Breaks from 27 December to 3 January, with prices starting from £78 per person. These short breaks include hotel accommodation, waterpark access, mini golf, breakfast, and selected ride access and entertainment to ring in the New Year.
