Chessington World of Adventures Resort Opens the UK’s First World of PAW Patrol

Chessington World of Adventures Resort has officially opened the highly anticipated World of PAW Patrol. The £15m experience welcomed its first public guests on Sunday, 3 May 2026, following an exclusive VIP event and a Merlin Annual Passholder preview the day before.

The new 1.4-acre land features four new rides, immersive play areas, and the opportunity for fans to meet all their favourite pups, including Chase, Marshall, Skye, and Rubble. The investment marks a significant addition to the resort’s offering for families with younger children.

VIPs Lead the Rescue Mission

A host of celebrities joined the PAW Patrol for a first look on Saturday, 2 May. Celebrity Traitors stars Joe Marler and Nick Mohammed proved they have remained "faithful" friends as they hopped aboard Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure, while Olympian Greg Rutherford and his family braved Chase’s Mountain Mission.

Also in attendance were The One Show’s Alex Jones and Made in Chelsea’s Hugo Taylor, all getting an exclusive first look at the four new rides that anchor the land. The grand opening was made official by 'PAWject Manager' Hallie, who led a crowd-wide countdown to open the gates to the public.

The new land includes a diverse mix of attractions designed specifically for preschool and primary-aged children:

  • Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure: A UK-first 'drifter' ride that replicates the movement of a hovercraft.
  • Chase’s Mountain Mission: A junior coaster that takes guests on a rescue mission through snowy peaks.
  • Skye’s Helicopter Heroes: An aerial attraction offering views across the vibrant new land.
  • Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue: A family-favourite ride rethemed to join the PAW Patrol fleet.

Beyond the rides, children can explore Rubble & Rocky's Play Zone, an immersive playscape, and meet the pups at the Town Hall.

A Complete Experience

The opening of the World of PAW Patrol also introduces new themed retail and dining options. The PAW Patrol Gift Shop offers a range of exclusive merchandise, including clothing and collectibles not available elsewhere. Meanwhile, Rescue Refreshments provides a variety of snacks, including branded 'Pup Packs'.

For those looking to extend their stay, Chessington has also launched five new PAW Patrol-themed hotel rooms, allowing families to sleep in the heart of the action.
