Shockwave - Europe's only stand-up roller coaster, with 4 thrilling inversions - 1 Vertical Loop, 1 Zero-G Roll, and 2 Corkscrews. The ride features 1640ft of winding track up to a height of 120ft, providing speeds of up to 53mph and a maximum G-Force of 4. It was recently voted 'The Best Stand-Up roller coaster in the World' by the Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain so make sure not to miss out!
STORMFORCE 10 - The UK's first reverse shute water ride, there are 3 drops - 25ft, 40ft and 60ft, one of which takes you plummeting backwards into the stormy water below. This ride (In association with the RNLI) recreates a lifeboat rescue and has a G-Force of up to 3 plus a fantastic speed of 35 knots.
Maelstrom- This giant 'Gyro Swing' ride will drag you into a total whirlpool of action. The spinning gondola enables riders to sit facing outwards whilst swinging to a height of over 22 metres. Authentic theming adds to the extreme experience of what has already become one of the park's most popular attractions.
The Haunting - In a quiet corner of the park mist gathers around the doors of an old mansion, it is of course, haunted! Similar to the ghostly experience offered by 'Hex' at Alton Towers those brave enough to enter are sure to discover the many secrets about the park's dark history.
Splash Canyon- A theme park classic, white water rafting for all the family! The rough waters for this ride wind under the track of 'Shockwave' offering some great views. Ideal for groups of friends or family as you can share a raft and get a great photo at the end!
Pandemonium - Drayton Manor's fabulous double inverter in the Aerial Park zone. A modern take on the traditional fairground ride, the difference being that riders legs are left dangling free rather than inside a carriage. Seats are arranged so that families and friends can all sit together watching each others faces turn green!
Excalibur, A Dragon's Tale - Drayton Manor has its very own medievil kingdom, come and explore it on this great family boat ride. Each boat gently slides through the calm waters and castles where you will find knights and fire breathing dragons.
G-Force - After plunging from the 10 metre high station there's a vertical lifthill leading into an impressive backward roll with forces of -1g. Carriages then go down a steep loop figure with a top speed of up to 70 km/h followed by a very tight, high camelback with plenty of air time. This is followed immediately by the 'Bent Cuban Eight', offering 2 further inversions. A final high banked curve leads impressively back to the station.
Pirate Adventure - An elaborateindoor dark water ride boasting some of the best theming in a UK theme park. You are taken on a journey around the seven seas of the world including pirate towns, torture dungeons and battle grounds.
Buffalo - This powered roller coaster is ideal for kids or thosenot quite ready for the heart pounding 'Shockwave' or 'G-Force'. Its curvy track takes you right out over the lake providing a rush of excitement.
Apocalypse - The world's first stand-up tower drop, an incredible 200ft high ride where you can choose from sitting down, standing up, or 'stand-up-floorless'. Riders are subjected to an incredible G-Force of 4 and plunge downwards whilst at an angle of 20 degrees. It was opened in 2000 and upgraded in 2002, and is still thought to be the UK's best tower drop ride.
