From Monday 17th April to Sunday 7th May 2023 there will be a series of marmalising experiences dedicated to the world’s first 14-looping roller coaster, The Smiler, in its 10th year. Soak up the adrenaline-pumping atmosphere and take on eye-popping, jaw-dropping, brain-bending action aboard the world-beating line up of roller coasters.

Back for 2023, get the summer vibes going with the all-new Alton Towers Mardi Gras! This carnival inspired takeover will dazzle you with an explosion of colours, sounds, high energy entertainment and so much more! Not forgetting that you will have the chance to ride the park's roller coasters and family attractions as the sun goes down, as well as try some food from around the world.

9th September – 1st October 2023

From Saturday 9th September to Sunday 1st October, the entertainment-led Oktoberfest will take place each afternoon and include live acts, delicious food and drink with a German twist, as well as the chance to enjoy a selection of the park’s world-class roller coasters and family attractions into the evening.

Alton Towers will again be celebrating Halloween in 2023.

Visit the theme park on the 7th – 8th, 13th – 31st October for hair-raising antics and spooktacular surprises!

The park is open each day from 10am - 9pm throughout the event - giving you a whole 11 hours of scares. When night falls, it's an incredible opportunity to ride the most famous rides at Alton Towers in the dark, including Wicker Man.
