Meet and greets with the Penguins means guests can strike a pose alongside their favourite characters, before joining the agent birds on a top secret operation on a newly themed Penguins of Madagascar ride for young adventurers, Treetop Hoppers

A whole new season of thrills kicks-off as Thorpe Park officially opens its gates on Thursday 12 March 2015 and to celebrate a new generation of thrillseekers taking on their first coaster, the park is offering 1,000 free tickets on Saturday 14 March and Sunday 15 March for children who have reached the magic height of 1.4m.

The first 500 children who measure between 1.4m and 1.5m plus a guest on both Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 March will receive free admission. Don’t forget the moment, each lucky guest that claims their free tickets will receive a photo voucher to get their free My First Coaster picture frame of their first time on one of the park's five flagship coasters.

Drayton Manor is set to be bigger and better than ever in 2015 with a £2.5 million expansion that will see Europe’s only Thomas Land increase in size by 40%.

As we originally reported in August last year, Thomas Land at Drayton Manor is being expanded.

With 3 brand new rides plus a stunning new Sodor Airport terminal, Thomas Land will have even more to create a magical day out for Thomas fans in 2015.

Opening over Easter, the new rides will be Flynn’s Fire Rescue, Captain’s Sea Adventure and Toby’s Tram Express.

Thorpe Park is to launch the world’s first I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Maze inspired by the hit TV show. Opening on Friday 27 March 2015 in partnership with ITV Studios, the new family attraction will be home to creepy ‘critters’ and jungle trials.

In rainforest temperature mist, camp mates who enter the Maze will be greeted by Ant and Dec who will give them a recorded briefing. They will then have to navigate through tunnels, crawly corridors and dark caves that will make you squawk! Campers should keep their eyes peeled for Bush Tucker Trials where they will unearth the prized gold stars.

Many of the best theme parks in the UK will be opening for February Half Term 2015, ThemeParks-UK presents the highlights including selected rides at Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures and Drayton Manor.

A new exciting adventure awaits as Paultons Park opens a new land called Critter Creek at Easter in 2015. At the Show Street Cinema there is a new 4D adventure film featuring Sherlock Holmes for you to enjoy from February Half Term. Plus preparations for The Lost Kingdom coming in 2016.

From Easter 2015, step into Critter Creek, a land crawling with fun. This fully-themed area will include a number of bizarre creatures and plants, all transported back by Professor Blast.

Dive into CBeebies Land in 2015 and join Captain Barnacles and crew as The Octonauts head to Alton Towers with a brand new attraction. The Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure opens on March 21st and will see little thrill seekers board the convoy of GUPs for a rescue mission with some of their favourite characters.

Through interactive elements children will be able to discover some fascinating sea creatures and learn about some of the Octonauts most exciting missions as they take a tour of the Octopod.

Learn about the Octonauts mission to explore new underwater worlds, rescue amazing sea creatures and protect the ocean before heading to the launch bay to join the GUP convoy with Captain Barnacles in the driving seat.

Enjoy the February Half Term at Drayton Manor theme park, near Tamworth in Staffordshire, which is set to welcome families for a week of fun and adventure.

From Saturday 14th to Sunday 22nd February 2015, 10.30am until 4pm a number of Drayton Manor’s most popular attractions will be open, including Thomas Land, the ZooJolly Buccaneer, Ben 10: Ultimate Mission roller coaster and the 4D Cinema.

Thomas Land at Drayton Manor is home to many rides and attractions based on loveable Thomas & Friends characters, including Cranky the Crane and Harold the Helicopter. There is a Thomas the Tank Engine train ride, indoor and outdoor play areas, a café and shop.

African Adventures returns to Chessington World of Adventures theme park this February Half Term for more family fun! Adventurers can visit Chessington World of Adventures every day between 14th – 22nd February 2015 from 10am-3pm, for African Adventures.
