Peter Rabbit and Teletubbies join Cbeebies Land at Alton Towers

Alton Towers has revealed that two new family attractions will join CBeebies Land this year.

Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop

From March 23rd, families will be able to experience the new Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop ride, featuring the mischievous bunny Peter Rabbit and his friends Benjamin and Lily.

Playful Benjamin Bunny has hidden from his friends in Mr McGregor’s garden, and young guests are invited to join Peter and Lily as they explore the garden and solve puzzles to try to uncover his hiding place!

As the explorers embark on the mission they are invited to ‘unleash their inner bunny’ and hop high into the sky to see if they can find Benjamin from the top of the ride!

Teletubbies Big Band Live Show

April will see the arrival of the Teletubbies, who will be performing a brand new live show, exclusive to guests at CBeebies Land.

The twice-daily performances in Big Fun Showtime will see children and families join Tinky-Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po in a musical extravaganza, the Teletubbies Big Band Live Show!

Ready with their music instruments, the Teletubbies will transport families over the hills and far away to the iconic Teletubbyland, where they’ll get to play-along as they enjoy a delightfully interactive music and dance filled performance.

Guests will also have the chance to ‘meet and greet’ the Teletubbies each day following the performances before they wave Tubby Bye-Bye!

The Teletubbies and Peter Rabbit and friends, join 14 other kids’ TV favourites within CBeebies Land including the Furchester Hotel, Go Jetters, In the Night Garden, Octonauts, Postman Pat and Tree Fu Tom. The land includes a large range of rides, indoor and outdoor play areas and a full programme of live entertainment featuring Bing and Flop in Bing’s Picnic and Hey Duggee’s Big Day Out Badge.

CBeebies Land opened at Alton Towers in 2014 and is specially designed to promote learning through play, sparking guests’ imaginations as CBeebies favourites are brought to life.

Nowhere else can fans of the UK’s most watched children’s channel meet so many of their favourite characters all in one place.

James Walker, Marketing Director for Alton Towers:

“We are really excited to further extend the fun-packed programme of entertainment and rides in CBeebies Land and bring to life even more TV favourites to captivate the imaginations of children.”

Natasha Spence, Live Entertainment, BBC Studios:

“CBeebies Land offers a brilliant opportunity for young children and their families to experience hands-on some of their favourite CBeebies shows and characters. The addition of the new Peter Rabbit ride and the exclusive Teletubbies live show is incredibly exciting and adds to what already is a rich portfolio of children’s brands.”
