Blackpool Pleasure Beach preparing to open the park on 4th July 2020

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is preparing to re-open the theme park on the 4th July 2020, in line with current Government guidance.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach will be introducing a range of brand new policies and procedures to ensure that the park remains as safe as possible for guests.

Take a look at some of the measures they are putting in place as they prepare to welcome you back:

  • Book in advance online and use the new eTicket, allowing you to enter the park as soon as you arrive.
  • To enable social distancing, the number of guests allowed in the park will be capped on a daily basis.
  • A range of new, more frequent and enhanced deep cleaning measures across the park, rides and attractions.
  • New hand sanitisation facilities located around the park.
  • A range of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for team members.
  • The entire Blackpool Pleasure Beach team will be temperature tested each day.
  • All staff will have received training in preparation for re-opening.
  • There will be social distancing measures in queue lines around the park.
  • A dedicated plan for each ride has been developed and implemented in order to enable social distancing between groups.
  • Some rides may require you to wear a face covering.
  • On some rides it may be necessary to leave empty seats between guests.
  • Please be prepared to make contactless payments.
  • A new online food ordering system is being developed allowing guests to order a selection of food from their mobile phone, which can be collected at a designated time and location.
