Valhalla at Blackpool Pleasure Beach to be reimagined for 2021

Blackpool Pleasure Beach has announced that the water-based dark ride Valhalla is being given a sprinkling of magic dust and will experience a reimagining during the 2020 season with the ride reopening in 2021, in time for the park's 125th anniversary year.

Valhalla opened at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in 2000 at a cost of £15 million. The impressive attraction was supplied by the ride manufacturer Intamin.

One of the world's greatest dark rides, Valhalla has won multiple awards and is guaranteed to get you completely drenched!

Riders could take a journey through the four elements of ice, fire, wind and snow. The thrilling experience featured breathtaking special effects, huge sets and terrifying drops.

It will be closed during the 2020 season for major refurbishment, and is set to reopen in 2021.
