Upgrade for The Haunting at Drayton Manor

The Haunting at Drayton Manor has received a face lift for 2016, undergoing renovation work to improve the experience for visitors.

The spooky haunted house, which originally opened in 1996, has had remedial works carried out to enhance it, so that it can continue to thrill and terrify the park's visitors in 2016.

The ride, which celebrates its 20th birthday this season, has undergone a refresh and uplift with a revised, more modern storyline. The old family favourite has housed the park’s ghosts and ghouls and been delighting the young and young at heart for two decades and, as such, the core layout and principle features have remained the same.

However, the number of special effects has increased offering an improved ‘super-natural’ experience for visitors to see, feel and witness along their journey. Visitors can now investigate and report on their findings through a form of interactive scoring at the exit of the attraction, bringing a more immersive and interactive feel to the attraction.

Unfortunately the Pirate Adventure indoor dark boat ride will not be operating in 2016, due to ongoing repairs.
