Hyde Park Winter Wonderland in 2019

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is back in 2019 with an array of rides, attractions and shows in London including a Giant Observation Wheel and Paddington on Ice.

Over the years, the event has become a must-do attraction for Londoners, visitors and tourists alike. The UK’s number one Christmas destination runs for 6 weeks, Thursday 21st November 2019 - Sunday 5th January 2018, and will host an array of new attractions and entertainment, as well as the return of many visitor favourites.

New for 2019, Paddington on Ice combines cutting edge choreography, stunning costumes and toe tapping music! This amazing ice show is already an incredible success in Germany, where it plays at Europa-Park (Germany’s largest theme park). Now, to the great delight of Paddington fans, the show can be seen for the first time in the UK.

This year, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland will also host a world record breaker - at 70 m tall, the Giant Observation Wheel is the biggest transportable wheel in the world! A whole 10 m bigger than last year’s wheel, visitors can enjoy even more spectacular views across London.

Surrounding the picturesque Victorian bandstand in London’s beautiful Hyde Park, the UK’s largest Ice Rink returns to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. Visitors can glide across the ice in the tranquil, leafy setting as the bandstand singer provides a gentle musical backdrop – it’s a stunning, quintessentially festive scene!

Escape to the alps at Bar Ice and be transported to the coolest destination around. Step inside the beautifully crafted apres ski bar, surrounded by funky, pop-art memorabilia, where the bar, tables, chairs and even the glasses are made of ice. With a complimentary cocktail provided with each ticket and a cloak to keep out the cold, it the perfect spot to chill.

Returning with an all new, seasonally themed show, Zippos Christmas Circus won’t fail to thrill and delight the whole family. With jaw dropping aerial acrobatics and laugh-out-loud clowning, this feelgood show is fun-packed from start to finish. At under an hour, it’s the perfect length for families and has a buggy park too.

Continuing the circus theme, Cirque Berserk returns with an all new, dystopian-themed show. Their international troupe of brave daredevils, aerialists and acrobats have raised the stakes yet again with a show packed with off the chart thrills and mind-blowing stunts.

Back by popular demand, The Globe of Death returns with motorcyclists reaching speeds of 60 mph as they hurtle around the giant steel cage. It’s a fast-paced, full throttle thrill like no other.

A new Season Ride Pass allows tap ’n’ ride access onto all Hyde Park Winter Wonderland rides. It’s easy to top-up using your phone and perfect to give as a gift or to just lend to a friend. The pass makes visiting with friends or family easier, can be used throughout the season and helps to budget your day.

The lineup of roller coasters at this year's event are Munich Looping, Wilde Maus XXL, Ice Mountain, Euro Coaster, Santa's Spinning Coaster, Santa's Flying Sleigh and the Crazy Clown Children's Coaster. Thrill rides include the Dr. Archibald VR Ride, The Hangover, Air and Star Flyer. There are also plenty of children's rides and attractions.
