All theme parks in England given the go ahead to open on 4th July

From the 4th July, the Government will allow theme parks in England to reopen, providing that they can do so safely.

This latest announcement does not include Scotland and Wales, as these regions have their own rules.

Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures and LEGOLAND Windsor will re-open with a range of new health and safety measures that seek to reduce the risks associated with the presence of COVID-19.

Drayton Manor will re-open Thomas Land and selected family rides on the 4th July, with the rest of the park re-opening on the 18th July.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach has also confirmed that it will be re-opening on the 4th July, with the season extended until the 13th December.
