All UK theme parks will be closed from 5th November 2020

Following the announcement of a second lockdown in England, all theme parks in the UK will be closed from 5th November 2020.

Here are the anticipated reopening dates for theme parks in the UK:

England

  • Alton Towers hopes to reopen on 4th December for the Santa’s Sleepover event.
  • Thorpe Park will reopen in 2021.
  • Chessington World of Adventures hopes to reopen on 5th December for the Winter's Tail event.
  • LEGOLAND Windsor hopes to reopen on 4th December for the LEGOLAND at Christmas event.
  • Drayton Manor hopes to reopen on 4th December for the Drayton's Magical Christmas event.
  • Blackpool Pleasure Beach will reopen in 2021.
  • Paultons Park hopes to reopen on 5th December for the Christmas at Paultons event.
  • Adventure Island will reopen in 2021.
  • Lightwater Valley hopes to reopen on 4th December for the Christmas at Lightwater Valley event.
  • Pleasurewood Hills will reopen in 2021.
  • Woodlands hopes to reopen on 5th December for the Winter Fun season.
  • Diggerland will reopen in 2021.

Scotland

  • M&D's Scotland's Theme Park will reopen in 2021.

Wales

  • Oakwood Theme Park will reopen in 2021.
