Plans for theme parks in England to re-open from 12th April 2021

The Government plans to allow theme parks in England to re-open from 12th April 2021.

This latest announcement does not include Scotland and Wales, as these regions have their own rules.

The plans are subject to certain conditions relating to vaccinations, infection rates and new coronavirus variants being met.

Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures and LEGOLAND Windsor will re-open with a full range of health and safety measures that seek to reduce the risks associated with the presence of COVID-19.

Drayton Manor will re-open on the 12th April with COVID-secure measures.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach has also confirmed that it will be re-opening on the 12th April.
